HiveThoughts Technologies Private Limited ("HiveThoughts", "we", "us") builds privacy-first, offline-first products. Our default position is simple: your data stays with you. This policy explains what little we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Our apps are designed to work on-device. Wherever possible, your personal data — expenses, notes, activity — never leaves your phone. We collect information only when you give it to us directly:

• Contact details — if you email us (admin@), we receive your email address and whatever you send.
• Account information — some products may offer optional accounts; we then store the minimum needed to operate them (e.g. a phone number or email).
• Crash and diagnostics data — anonymised, opt-in where the platform allows, used only to fix bugs.

2. What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers in our products.
• We do not read the personal content you keep inside our offline-first apps — it lives on your device, not our servers.

3. How we use information

The limited information we hold is used to respond to you, operate optional features you've chosen, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers strictly needed to run our services (e.g. email hosting), under contracts that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete it. Data in transit is encrypted; data you keep in our offline-first apps is stored on your own device.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent for optional features at any time. Write to us and we'll respond promptly.

7. Children

Our products are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the relevant product.
